Celebrate Midsummer and the summer solstice with what else but a showing of the director's cut of Ari Aster's MIDSOMMAR.

Dani (Florence Pugh) and Christian (Jack Reynor) are a young American couple with a relationship on the brink of falling apart. But after a family tragedy keeps them together, a grieving Dani invites herself to join Christian and his friends on a trip to a once-in-a-lifetime midsummer festival in a remote Swedish village. What begins as a carefree summer holiday in a land of eternal sunlight takes a sinister turn when the insular villagers invite their guests to partake in festivities that render the pastoral paradise increasingly unnerving and viscerally disturbing. MIDSOMMAR is a dread-soaked cinematic fairytale where a world of darkness unfolds in broad daylight.

“The dreamy, color-drenched aesthetic combined with body horror and humor makes for a tonal roller coaster that leaves audiences with a kind of dissonant stomach-churning disturbance that’s not easy to shake.” Katie Walsh, Tribune News Service

“It’s strange and distressing at times, even a little punishing to audiences, but it’s filled with ideas, images, and feelings that will stay with you long after the credits roll. And it’s worth every second.” Clarisse Loughrey, The Independent
